John Henry Gent at the same day here returned that he had taken the af.d Mathew
Kemp whose body hereat this day he had ready to answer the af.d Christopher Nutter
of the af.d plea as to him it was Commanded         And whereupon the aforesaid Mathew
Kemp puts in his place William Goldsborough Gent against the aforesaid Christopher in the plea afd

          Whereupon at the request of the parties aforesaid day is to them here given to ^be^ before his
Lordships Justices at the next Court to be held at dividing Creek in and for the Same County ^of^ the third
tuesday of March then next following in the same state as at present saving to the parties afd &a

       Att which day here Came againe the parties afd by their attorneys afd and the afd Christopher
Nutter who offered the writt afd against the afd Mathew in the afd Plea doth not further prosecute the same
writt         Therefore he and his pledges of prosecuting be in Mercy and Lett the plantiffe name to pledges &.a
and that the afd Mathew Kemp goe thereof without day   Also it is Considered that the afd Mathew
Kemp recover ^against^ the aforesaid Christopher Nutter his damages by occasion of the premisses to
164                                                                  pounds of tobacco to the same Mathew by discretion of the
Justices here at his request for his Costs and Charges in that part Sustained according to the form of
the Statute thereof made and provided by the Court here adjudged &a

Command was given to the sherriffe of Somerset County
that he should take John Lamberson Late of Somerset County
Carpenter if he should be found in his bailywick and him should
safe keep so that he might have his body before the Justices of his Lordships
County Court of Somerset to be held at deviding Creek in the same County the
third tuesday of November Anno Dom one thousand seven hundred and thirty
seven to answer unto Levin Powell of a plea of trespass upon the Case &.a
And the same day is given to the said Levin Powell here &.a

    Att which day here Came the af.d Levin Powell by Robert Jenckins Henry
his attorney and the sheriffe of Somerset County to witt John Henry Gent
at the same day here returned that he had taken the af.d John Lamberson
whose body hereat this day he had ready to answer the af.d Levin Powell of
the af.d plea as to him it was Commanded            And Whereupon the af.d Math
John Lamberson puts in his place George Douglas Gent against the af.d
