Command was given to the sherriffe of Somerset
County that of the goods and Chattles of William Whittington
Garnishe of John Donnelson Late of Somerset
County Marriner in his bailywick he should make twelve
pounds Currt money of Maryland ^and six hundred and fifty eight pounds of tobacco^ which to Samuel Hopkins in his Lordships
County Court of Somerset before the Justices thereof at deviding Creek were
adjudged for his damages which he had by occasion of a Certain promise and
assumption to the same Samuel by the af.d William in the County af.d made
and not performed and the he should have that same money ^& tobacco^ before the Justices
of his Lordships County Court of Somerset to be held in the Court house at
deviding Creek af.d the third tuesday of March Anno Dom one thousand
seven hundred and thirty seven to satisfie the af.d Samuel of his damages
af.d whereof the same William is Convict &.a

Att which day here Came the said Samuel Hopkins in his proper person and the Sheriffe
of Somerset County to witt John Henry Gent at the same day returned in form following

    By vertue of this writt to me directed I have Caused to be made the within
mentioned sum of twelve pounds Currt money of Maryland and six hundred
fifty and eight pounds of tobacco of the goods and Chattles of the within named
William Whittington which said sum of twelve pounds and six hundred and
fifty eight pounds of tobacco before the Justices within mentioned at the day
and place within Contained I have ready &.a as that writt requires
                                                             so answers   John Henry Sheriffe

    Command was given to the sherriffe of Somerset County
that he should take Mathew Kemp Late of Somerset
County planter if he should be found in his bailywick
and him should safe keep so that he might have his body before the Justices
of his Lordship County Court of Somerset to be held at deviding Creek in the
same County the third tuesday of November Anno Dom one thousand seven
hundred and thirty seven to answer unto Christopher Nutter of a plea of trespass
upon the Case &.a               Att which day here Came the af.d Christopher Nutter
by William Beckingham his attorney and the sherriffe of Somerset County to witt
