County Court of Somerset to be held at deviding Creek in the same County the third tuesday of March Anno Dom one thousand seven hundred and thirty seven to satisfie David Wilson of four pounds seventeen shillings Currt money of Maryland and three hundred and twenty eight pounds of tobacco which to the same David in the same Court before the Justices thereof at deviding Creek af.d were adjudged for his damages which he had by occasion of a Certain promise and assumption to the same David by the af.d John made and not performed whereof he is Convict &.a Att which day here Came the af.d David Wilson by George Douglas his attorney and the sherriffe of Somerset County to witt John Henry Gent at the same day here returned that he had taken the af.d John Bishop whose body hereat this day he had ready to sastisfie the af.d David Wilson as af.d he was Commanded &.a And afterwards to witt the same day and year af.d Came the af.d John Bishop to the barr here led by the sherriffe of the County af.d by vertue of the af.d writt to him directed and being asked by the Court here if he was the very same John the same person that the af.d David recovered the above damages against or not who says he is Therefore the same John Bishop is Committed to the prison of the sherriffe of the County af.d thereto remain in safe Custody untill the af.d David of the damages af.d be satisfied and Contented &.a the said sherriffe present herein Court took Charge of the said John accordingly &.a
