that he had taken the afd Adam Brafford whose body here at this day he had ready to satisfie the afd
Ezekiel Wise as afd he was Commanded &a  and afterwards to witt the same day and year afd Came the
afd Adam Brafford to the Barr here Led by the sheriffe of the County afd by vertue of the afd Writt to him
directed and being asked by the Court here if he was the very same Adam the same person that the afd Ezekiell
recovered the above Damages against or not who says that he is  Therefore the same Adam Brafford
is Committed to the prison of the Sherriffe of the County afd thereto remain in safe Custody untill the afd
Ezekiell of the Damages afd be satisfied and Contented &a  the said sher present herein Court took Charge
of the said Adam accordingly &a

    Command was given to the sherriffe of Somerset County that he
should take John Bishop Jun.r late of Somerset County planter al.s dict
John Bishop Jun.r of Somerset County in the province of Maryland planter
if he should be found in his bailywick and him should safe keep so that he might have
his body before the Justices of his Lordships County Court of Somerset to be held
at deviding Creek in the same County the third tuesday of March Anno Dom one
thousand seven hundred and thirty seven to satisfie John Atkinson as well a Certain
debt of two thousand one hundred and seventy pounds of good pork and two hundred
and eighty pounds of good tobacco which the same John in his Lordships County Court
of Somerset at deviding Creek before the Justices thereof recovered against him as of
five hundred and sixteen pounds of tobacco which to the same John in the same
Court were adjudged for his damages which he had by occasion of the detention of that
same debt whereof he is Convict &.a  Att which day here Came the af.d John Atkinson in
his proper person and the sherriffe to witt John Henry Gent at the same day here
returned that he had taken the af.d John Bishop whose body hereat this day he
had ready to satisfie the af.d John Atkinson as af.d he was Commanded &.a

And afterwards to witt the same day and Year above said Came the afd John Bishop and to
the barr here Ledd by the Sheriff afd by vertue of the afd writt to the aforesaid sheriffe directed
And being by the Court here asked whether he was the Same John Bishop the Same person which the
afd John Atkinson as well in the debt afd as in the damages afd before Convicted or not who saith that
he is   therefore the same John Bishop is Committed to the prison of the Sheriffe afd there to remaine in
safe Custody untill the afd John Atkinson of the Debt & Damages afd should be fully Satisfied and Contented &a the
afd sher by Joshua Merrill his deputy present herein Court took Charge of the Said John Bishop accordingly &a
