248 behalf the said Abraham Cordery at suit Day Scott qui: tam they and each of them having made oath to the same &.a Ordered that Margaret Peal Recover against John Woolford ninety pounds of tobacco being due unto her for her attendance three days as an evidence on behalf of his Lordship against the said John Woolford she having made oath to the same &a Ordered that Nehemiah King Recover against THomas Gilliss one hundred and fifty pounds of tobacco being due unto him for his attendance five days as an evidence on behalf the said Thomas Gilliss against William Gray he having made oath to the same &.a Ordered that William Stephens Recover against John Allen three hundred and sixty pounds of tobacco being due unto him for his attendance twelve days as an evidence on behalf the said John Allen against Peter Taylor he having made oath to the same &.a Ordered that Benjamin Tull Recover against John lay sixty pounds of tobacco being due unto him for his attendance two days as an evidence on behalf the said John Lay against Thomas Collins and Nehemiah Holland he having made oath to the same &.a
at dividing Creek the third Tuesday of March Ann Dom One thousand Seven hundred and thirty Seven to Satisfie Ezekiell Wise of three pounds Eighteen shillings and Eleven pence Curr.t money of Maryland and fourteen hundred and thirty one pounds of tobacco which to the Same Ezekiel in the Same Court before the Justices thereof at Dividing Creek afd were adjudged for his damages which he had by occasion of a Certain promise and assumption to the same Ezekiell by the afd Adam made and not perform'd whereof he is Convict &.a Att which day here Came the afd Ezekiel Wise by George Douglas his attorney and the Sheriffe of Somerset County to witt John Henry Gent at the Same day here returned that |
