Waller Joshua Caldwell & John Dennis Jun.r who to say the truth of the premisses afd being Elected tryed and
Sworn upon their Oath Say that the said Abraham Cordery and Martha his wife are not Guilty of the premisses
aforesaid above upon them Imposed and that they do not Owe unto the said Day who as well &a two thousand
pounds of tobacco as the afd Day who as well &a above against them have declared

       Therefore it is Considered that the aforesaid Day Scott who as well &a take nothing by his writt
and declaration aforesaid but be in mercy for his falce Clamour and that the aforesaid Abraham
Cordery and Matha his wife goe thereof without day &a and further it is Considered that the aforesaid
Abraham Cordery and Martha his wife recover against the said Day Scott who as well &.a

their defence in that part Sustained to the Same Abraham Cordery and Martha his wife about
their defence in that part Sustained
according to the form of the Statute thereof Lately made and

    Command was given to the sherriffe of Somerset County
that he should take Thomas Fletcher late of all hallows
parish in Somerset County Clerk otherwise Called Thomas
Fletcher if he should be found in his bailywick and him should safe keep so
that he might have his body before the Justices of his Lordships County Court
of Somerset to be held at deviding Creek in the same County the third tuesday
of August Anno Dom one thousand seven hundred and thirty seven to
answer unto William Jones of a plea that he render unto him eight pounds
two shillings and six pence Curr.t money of maryland which to him he oweth
and unjustly detaineth &.a      and the same day is given to the af.d William
here &.a  Att which day here before his Lordships Justices at a Court then held
at deviding Creek in the same county Came the af.d William Jones by Robert
Jenckins Henry his attorney and the af.d sherriffe to witt John Henry Gent now
here returned that he had taken the af.d Thomas Fletcher whose body hereat
this day he had ready to answer the af.d William Jones of the af.d plea as to him it was
