And the afd Richard Holland by his attorney afd Cometh and defendeth the force
and Injury when &a and prayeth Leave thereof to Imparle here untill the next
Court and to be held at dividing Creek in and for the County afd the third Tuesday of Novem
then next following and he hath it and the same day is Given to the afd John
here also &.a
                            Att which day here ^Came^ againe as well the aforesaid John Purnal
Jun.r as the aforesaid Richard Holland by their attorneys aforesaid and whereupon
the said Richard Holland prays further Leave thereof to Imparle here untill the next
Court to be held at dividing Creek in and for the County afd the third Tuesday of March
then next following and he hath it and the same day is Given to the aforesaid John
here also &a            Att which day here Came againe as well the afd John Purnall
Jun.r as the afd Richard Holland by their attorneys afd  And whereupon the same
Richard as before defends the force and Injury when &.a and says that he did not
assume upon himselfe in manner and form as the aforesaid John above against him hath Complained
and of this he puts himselfe upon the Country &a

          Whereupon the said Richard relinquisheth his verification aforesaid by him above
pretended and saith that he Cannot deny the action afd of the afd John nor Can he say but
that he did assume upon himselfe in manner and form as the afd John above against him
hath Complained and as to the damage of the same John by him by occasion of the premisses
in that part Sustained the same Richard saith and acknowledgeth that the afd John hath
sustained Damages by occasion of the premisses beyond his Costs and Charges by him about his
suit in that part apposed to five pounds seventeen shillings and six pence Currt Money
of Maryland and not more and because the afd John denys not this but the same allegation
believes to be true prays Judgment for those damages above acknowledged together with
his Costs and Charges afd to him to be adjudged &a

    Therefore by Consent of the parties afd it is Considered that the afd John Purnall Jun.r
Recover against the aforesaid Richard Holland his damages afd to the afd five pounds
seventeen shillings and six pence Curr.t money of Maryland by the Same Richard in form
311    afd acknowledged as also                                                                           pounds of tobo
for his Costs and Charges afd to the same John at his request by the Court now here adjudged
which Certain damages in the whole amounts to five pounds seventeen shillings and six
pence Currt money of Maryland and                                                         pounds of tobo
with stay of Ex.n untill the fifteenth day of Aprill next & the afd Richd in Mercy &a
