James Waughop by him by Occasion of the premisses in that part Sustained the
same James Bremin saith and acknowledgeth that the aforesaid James Waughop
hath Sustained Damages by occasion of the premises beyond his Costs and Charges by
him about his Suit in that part apposed to three pounds Seventeen Shillings and
ten pence Sterling and not more and because the aforesaid James Waughop denys
not this but the same allegation believes to be true prays Judgm.t for those Damages
above acknowledged together with his Costs and Charges afd to him to be adjudged &a

          Therefore by Consent of the parties ^afd^ it is Considered that the afd James
Waughop recover against the afd James Bremin his damages afd to the afd three
281    pounds Seventeen Shillings and ten pence Sterling in form afd acknowledged as also
271                                                               pounds of tobacco for his Costs and Charges
afd to the same James Waughop at his request by the Court now here of the assent
of the parties afd adjudged which Certain damages in the whole amounts to three pounds
Seventeen Shillings and ten pence Sterling and
pounds of tob.o with Stay of Execution untill the fifteenth day of aprill then next following

    Command was Given to the Sheriffe of Somerset
County that he should take Charles Ramsey Late of Somerset
County planter if he should be found in his bailywick and him
should safe keep so that he might have his body before the Justices of his Lordships
County Curt of Somerset to be held at deviding Creek in the same County the
third tuesday of March Anno Dom one thousand seven hundred and thirty
seven to answer unto Richard Brooks of a plea of trespass upon the Case &.a

    Att which day here before his Lordships Justices at a Court then held at
deviding Creek Came the af.d Richard Brooks by Robert Jenckins Henry his
attorney and the af.d sherriffe to witt John Henry Gent now here returned that
he had taken the af.d Charles Ramsey whose body hereat this day he had ready
to answer the af.d Richard Brooks of the af.d plea as to him it was Commanded
And hereupon the said Richard Brooks declared against the af.d Charles Ramsey
