regarding but plotting and fraudulently Intending and each of them plotting and fraudulently intending
the said John in that part craftilly and Subtilly to deceive and defraud the said three pounds eighteen
shillings to the said John have not paid or Contented altho the same to do the said Alex.d in his
lifetime to witt on the af.d first day of may in the year af.d and often afterwards and the af.d Ann
since the decease of the said Alexander to witt on the twenty fifth day of April Anno Dom
seventeen hundred and thirty five and often afterwards at the County of Somerset af.d they were
thereunto requested but the same to pay have refused and the said Ann the same to the said
John to pay still doth refuse and deny to the damage of the said John of seven pounds sixteen
shillings Curr.t money of Maryland and thereupon he brings suit &c   Pledges &c  John Doe & R Roe

Aprill ye 22.d 1735   Came John Barkley Jun.r before me the Subscriber One of his
Lordships Justices of the peace for Somerset County and proved the within acco.t as the act of assembly
of this province directs                  Jurat Coram me   James Dashiell

             And the said Ann Draper Executrix as afd by Robert Jenckins Henry her attorney Cometh
and saving to herselfe all advantages as well to the writt as the declaration afd prayeth Leave thereof
to Imparle here untill the third Tuesday of August then next following and she hath it and the same
day is given to the aforesaid John here also &c

       Att which day here Came againe as well the afd John Barkley Jun.r as the aforesaid Ann Draper
by their attorneys afd and whereupon the same Ann Draper prayeth further Leave thereof
to Imparle here untill the third Tuesday of November the next following and she hath it
and the same day is given to the afd John here also &c

    Att which day here Came againe as well the afd John Barkley Jun.r as the afd Ann Draper by
their attorneys aforesaid  And the said Ann Defends the force and Injury when &.c and Saith that
the afd Alexander Draper in his Lifetime did not assume upon himselfe in manner & form as
as the said John Barkley above against him hath Complained and of this she putts herselfe upon
the Country            Afterwards to witt the same third Tuesday of March afd the said John Barkley Jun.r
