proprietary of the province of maryland in the full and Just sum of five pounds sterling each to be Levied of their goods and Chattles Lands and tenements for the use of the said Lord proprietary if the af.d Alexander Brown shall fail in the performance of the Condition under written The Condition of which recognizance is such that whereas the above bounden Alexander Brown is charged by Eliz.a Porter of the County af.d that he had Carnal Knowledge of her body severall times and the said Elizabeth Porter is now with Child by him the said Alexander Brown which when born will be a basterd if therefore the af.d Alexander Brown shall personall appear appear before his Lopp Justices of the peace att a Court to be held for the County af.d the third tuesday of this Instant march att deviding Creek and then and there to receive and abide what shall be enjoined by the said Court concerning the premisses and in the mean time to be of the good behaviour then the above recognizance to be void otherwise to be and remain in full force and vertue in Law And now to witt the third tuesday of march at that same term before his Lordships Justices at deviding Creek Came the said Alexander Brown in his proper person according to a Certain Recognizance by him and his security In that part before acknowledged and prays that his appearance may be recorded and he and his security discharged &a Whereupon the said Tarrence Alexander Browns appearance is recorded and he and his security accordingly discharged &a Thereupon the said Alexander Brown is ordered to give new security for his appearance before his Lordships Justices at deviding Creek the third tuesday of June the next following to answer the premisses af.d &a Whereupon the said Alexander Brown with Tirrell Brown his Security both present here in Court in their proper persons acknowledged themselves Indebted unto his Lordship the Lord Proprietary |
