205 dispaired and other harms to him then and there did to the great damage of the same Wheatly and against the peace of the said Lord proprietary that now is his good rule and Government &.a Testes Wheatly Dennis Edw.d Rownd Abra Outen Henry David ^Jarman^ Murray John Scarbrough On the following Bill of Indictment it was endorsed vizt True Bill p John Waters foreman And now to witt the third Tuesday of march being the same term before his Lordships Justices at dividing Creek Came the said Donnock Dennis in his proper person according to a Certain Recognizance by him and his Security in that part before acknowledged and had a hearing of the Indictment aforesaid and saith that he Cannot deny but that he is guilty of the trespass and assault afd in the In the Indictment afd specified above upon him Imposed in manner and form as by the Indictment aforesaid above ag.t him supposed and the trespass and assault afd in the Indictment afd Expressly acknowledgeth &a Whereupon all and Singular the premisses by the Court here seen heard & fully understood It is Considered that the afd Donnock Dennis pay unto his said Lordship the Lord proprietary for his fine by the Court hereupon him Imposed for and by occasion of the trespass and assault afd whereof in form afd he is Convict five Shillings Curr.t money of Maryland and that the said Donnock Dennis be taken to Satisfie his said Lordship of the fine afd &a
seven before his said Lordships Justices the peace in the same County to keep assigned by the oath of twelve Jurors being presented that William Evans late of Stepney parish in the said County of Somerset planter the fourteenth day of January in the year of our Lord God one thousand seven hundred thirty and seven by force and arms &a at the parish af.d in the County af.d within the Jurisdiction of this Court one fine Linen Shirt of the value of twenty shillings Current money of the province of maryland of the goods and Chattells of a Certain John Boyce then and there found then and there feloniously did steal take and bear away contrary to the peace of the said Lord proprietary that |
