    March Court                1737                205

Indictment aforesaid Expressly acknowledgeth   Whereupon all and Singular the premisses by
the Court here seen heard and fully understood   It is Considered that the afd Mary Macfarline
pay unto his Lordship the Lord Proprietary for her fine by the Court here upon her ^Imposed^ for
and by Occasion of the trespasse and assault afd whereof in form afd she is Convict one
shilling Curr.t money of Maryland and that the afd Mary Macfarline be taken to satisfie his
said Lordship of the fine afd &a   whereupon the said Mary Macfarline is ordered to give security
for the payment of the Severall Officers Fees due by means of the premisses and Indictment
afd &a   Whereupon the said Mary Macfarline with John Collins of Broad Creek in the
County aforesaid planter both present herein Court in their proper persons acknowledged themselves
Indebted unto the Severall Officers of Somerset County Court that hath a right to any
fee or fees on the Indictment and premisses afd In One thousand pounds of tob.o of
their bodys goods or Chattells Lands or tenements to the use of their Severall Officers afd
their heirs or assignes to be made and Levied In Case the said Mary Macfarline do
not pay and Satisfie unto the Severall Officers afd their Just and rightfull fee or
fees due on the Indictment and premisses aforesaid &a


Margaret Oliver appears according to her recognizance Entered into for her appearance
at this Court to give Evidence on behalfe of his Lordship against Mary Macfarline
and is accordingly discharged &a

that now is for the body of Somerset County af.d upon their
oath do present that Donnock Dennis late of all hallows
parish in the County af.d planter the 25.th 8.br Anno Dom seventeen hundred
thirty and seven at the parish af.d in the County af.d within the Jurisdiction
of this Court in and upon a Certain Wheatly Dennis of the same
County in the peace of God and of the said Lord proprietary then and there
being with force and arms an assault did make and the same Wheatly
then and there did beat wound and evilly treat so that of his life it was much
