Safe keep so that he might have his body before the Justices of his Lordships County Court of
Somerset to be held at dividing Creek in the Same County the third Tuesday of March Ann
Dom one thousand Seven hundred and thirty Seven to answer his Lordship of
and Concerning of his Committing of fornication &a

       And Now to witt the third Tuesday of March being the Same Term before his Lordships
Justices at dividing Creek Came the same John Robins by George Douglas his attorney
and Saith that he is not willing to Contend with his said Lordship the Lord proprietary
in relation to the premisses ^afd^ but Submitts with a protestation of his Innocency &a

   Whereupon all and Singular the premisses by the Court here here seen heard and
fully understood   It is Considered by the Court here that the afd John Robins pay
unto his Lordship the Lord proprietary for his fine by the Court here upon him Imposed
for and by occasion of the premisses afd whereof in form afd he is Convict thirty
Shillings Curr.t money of Maryland (to the Use of the County afd) and that the said John
Robins be taken to Satisife his said Lordship of the fine afd &a  Whereupon the
said John Robins is ordered to give Security for all the Officers Fees due upon the premisses
afd      Thereupon the afd George Douglas present herein Court in his proper
person undertook for the Same John Robins for the payment of the severall officers
due by means of the premisses afd &a

Somerset ss    Memorandum that at a Sessions of the peace of his
Lordship the Right honourable the Lord Proprietary of the province
of Maryland held at dividing Creek in Somerset County the
third Tuesday of November Anno Dom one thousand Seven hundred and thirty Seven
before his said Lordships Justices the peace in the Same County to keep assigned by the
oath of Twelve Jurors being presented that Mary Macfarline late of Stepney parish
in the County af.d Spinster the tenth day of August Anno Dom seventeen hundred
thirty and seven at the parish af.d in the County af.d within the Jurisdiction of
this Court in and upon a certain Joan Collings of the same County in the
peace of God and of the said Lord proprietary then and there being with force and
