Wm Furnis Orphans
bond from Jams Francis
Somerset County in Maryland ss.t     Know all men by these presents that
we Isaac Holland Solomon Long and James Furnis all of Somerset County
in the province af.d are holden and firmly bound unto James Furnis Jnr William Furnis George
Furnis & Esther Furnis orphans of William Furnis dec.d in the full and just sum of Two hundred
and Twenty three pounds Two shillings and Eight pence Current money to be paid unto the
said James Furnis Jun.r William Furnis Geo Furnis and Esther Furnis their heirs Ex.rs
Adm.rs or assignes to the which payment well and truly to be made and done we bind our selves our
and either of our heirs Ex.rs and Adm.rs for the whole and in the whole Jointly and Severally firmly
by these presents Sealed with our seals and dated this 21th Day of March Ann Dom 1737

The Condition of the above obligation is such that whereas the Commissary Gen.ll hath
transmitted unto this Court the Account of the estate of William Furnis dec.d wherein it is found
that there is ball due to the above said orphans the sum of one hundred and Eleven pounds
Eleven shillings and four pence Curr.t money if there fore the above said ^Isaac Holland Solomon Long or James Furnis Jun.r^ or any ^or^ either of them their
heirs Ex.rs or Adm.rs do and shall well and truly ^pay or Cause^ to be paid unto the af.d orphans the af.d sum of
one hundred and Eleven pounds Eleven shillings and four pence Curr.t money to be paid them
According to Act of Assembly and dece.d wills when they shall arrive at full age to receive the
same &a then the above obligation to be void and of none effect otherwise to remain in full
force ^&^ vertue &a                                                                                  his

James Breman and James Houslton all of Somerset County in the
provinces af.d Gent are holden and firmly bound unto George Layfeild in the full and
just sum of fifty pounds Current money to be paid unto the said George Lafield his heirs
Ex.rs adm.rs or assignes to the which payment well and truly to be made and done we bind
ourselves our and either of our heirs Ex.rs and adm.rs for the whole and in the whole Jointly
and severally firmly by these presents sealed with our seals and dated this 22th day of March
Ann Dom 1737
