195 hath transmitted unto this Court the account of the state of Thomas Layfeild decd where in it is found that there is ball due to the above said orphan a negro man of the value of twenty five pounds Current money therefore if the above said James Breman his heirs Ex.rs or adm.rs shall and do well and truly pay or Cause to be paid unto the above said orphan the af.d negro of the value of Twenty five pounds Current money According to Act of Assembly and the decds will &a then the above obligation to be void and of none effect otherwise to remain in full force and vertue &a Sealed and Delivered James Breman (+) in the presence of James Houston (+) Tho.s Williams Rob.t King
Two hundred and six pounds pounds Eight shillings and two pence Current money of Maryland to be paid unto the said Mary Thomas and Levina Layfeild their heirs Ex.rs and Adm.rs or assignes to the which payment well and truly to be made and done we bind ourselves our and either of our heirs Ex.rs and adm.rs for the whole and in the whole Jointly and severally firmly by these presents sealed with our seals and dated this 22th Day of March Ann Dom 1737 The Condition of the above obligation is such that whereas the Commissary Genll hath transmitted unto this Court the Account of the estate of Thomas Layfeild dec.d wherein it is found that there is ball due to the above said orphans the sum of one Hundred and three pounds four shillings and one penny if there fore the above said James Breeman his heirs Ex.rs and Adm.rs or any of them shall well and truly pay or Cause to be paid unto the af.d orphans the sum of one hundred and three pounds four shillings and one penny to be paid them According to act of assembly and decds will when they shall arive at full age to receive the same &a then the above obligation to be void and of none effect otherwis to remain in force and vertue &a Sealed and delivered James Breman (seal) in the presence of Francis Allen (seal) Rob.t King James Baker (seal) John Handy George Layfield (seal) |
