or prosecutor of his Lordships pleas within the County of Somerset which is allowed
and was admitted to the Office and was quallified as appears by the following
Certificate      Before me William Stoughton One of the Right honourable the
Lord Proprietarys Justices of the peace for the County of Somerset Came Robert Jenkins
Henry and tooke the severall oaths to the Goverment as also the usuall oath of Clerk of
Indictments for the County af.d and signed the Ooath of abjuration and Testi according to the direction
of the Act of Assembly in that Case made and provided given under my hand this eleventh hour
in the morning of the twenty sixth Day of January Annoq Domini 1737


    Upon the motion of Robert Jenckins Henry Clerk of the Indictments
for this County  It is Ordered by the Court that he order out all Such Subpenas
as he and the Grand Jurors now pending this Court shall think Necessary to
give Evidence on behalfe of his Lordship to the said Grand Jurors against
any person or persons &a


John Davis of Somerset County Gent appointed Overseer of the roads in
Annamessex hundred in stead of Kirke Gunby for the Ensuing Year &a

     To the Worshipfull Justices of Somerset County now in Court
sitting  The petition of John Fleming Most Humbly Sheweth That whereas
                      the Road that leads from Costons Beaver Dams to Cap.t Scotts Landing Runs thro your
petitioners Land to his great prejudice and your petitioner having already Cleared a New Road which
is full as Near and Much better then the old one (as Cap.t Scott can Inform you) therefore prays he may have
the liberty of turning the same Road to the New one and he as in Duty Bound will pray &a

          The petition aforesaid being read and heard and fully understood   It is Considered
    by the Justices here that the aforesaid John Fleming turn the road as by the petition
    aforesaid is praid he first making the new road as near good and passable as the
    old road at his own proper Costs and Charges before he Stops the old road &a

Guardian
Elizabeth Dashiell (daughter of Christopher Dashiell late of
Somerset County decd) an orphan above the age of Fourteen Years Came
here into Court in her proper person and prays that she may be admitted
to Chose a Certain John Gale of the County afd Gentleman as her Guardian which is by the
