Somerset ss
                     Att a Court of the Right Honourable Charles absolute Lord and Proprietary
of the Provinces of Maryland and Avalon Lord Baron of Baltemore &.a held for Somerset
County in the Court house at dividing Creek in the Same County the third Tuesday of March to
witt the Twenty first day of the Same month Ann Dom One thousand Seven hundred and
thirty Seven by the said Lord Proprietarys his Justices the peace in the Same County to keep
assigned of whom were present

                                  The Court being sat as above   Proclamation was made in
Usual form the sheriffe of Somerset County to witt John Henry Gent returned here a pannell of
Grand Jurors according to act of assembly this day by him to be returned which being Called Came as
followeth vizt  Robert Jones Thomas Brown John Atkinson Moses Miles Charles Ballard
George Howard George Ervine Richard Brooks George Tull Wm Nelson Robert Hall John
Dennis Jun Edward Willin Thomas Reyley W.m Laws Robert Collier Charles Dashiell Tho.s
Jones and John Leatherbury  thereupon proclamation being made againe in Common
form and the Jurors afd so as aforesaid Impannelled being severally Called did appear as above
and were sworn and Charged and sent out to Consider &a soon after the Grand Jurors afd being
sworn and Charged as afd return hereinto Court and being Severall Called Over did appear and
return to the Court here the following Indictments vizt  Indictment against Richard Jones Hannah
Goldsmith Mary Shehe William Evans Robert Spear and William Turner  thereupon the
Grand Jurors aforesaid are discharged and allowed fifty Shillings Curr.t Money of Maryland for their
publick service this Court to be paid at the Laying of the County Levy next and against the afd Hannah
Goldsmith and Mary Shehee it is ordered that Capias Issue returnable to Next June Court &a


Robert Jenckins Henry of Somerset County Gent produced a Commission here in Court
(from Daniel Dulany Esqr Attorney Generall of the province of Mary) as Clerk of the Indictments
