1737 186 his bailywick and him should safe keep so that he might have his body before the Justices of his Lordships County Court of Somerset to be held at dividing Creek the third Tuesday of November Ann Dom One thousand Seven hundred and thirty Seven to Satisfie John Atkinson of Nineteen pounds thirteen Shillings and Eleven pence three farthings Curr.t money of Maryland and three hundred and ninety five pounds of tobacco which to the Same John Atkinson in the same Court before his Lordships Justices at dividing Creek afd were adjudged for his damages which he had by Occasion of a Certain promise and assumption to the same John by the afd Henry made and not performed whereof he is Convict &.a Att which day here before his Lordships Justices at dividing Creek came the af.d John Atkinson by Francis Allen his attorney and the sheriffe of Somerset County to witt John Henry Gent at the same day here returned that he had taken the afd Henry Jerman whose body here at this day he had ready to satisfie &.a as afd he was Commanded &a Somerset County ss.t you Henry Jerman william Jerman and William Oshehannas do Confess Judgment to John Atkinson for the Sum of Nineteen pounds thirteen Shillings and Eleven pence three farthings Current money of Maryland and three hundred and ninety ^five^ pounds of tobacco which sum was recovered by the said John Atkinson against Henry Jerman on the Twenty first day of June 1737 in the County Court of Somerset the said Sum of Nineteen pounds thirteen Shillings and Eleven pence three farthings Curr.t money afd and three hundred and ninety five pounds of tobacco to be Levied of your bodies goods or Chattells Lands or tenements for the Use of the said John Atkinson in Case the said Henry Jerman shall not pay and satisfie to the said John Atkinson the said sum of Nineteen pounds thirteen Shillings and Eleven pence three farthings and three hundred and ninety five pounds of tobacco so as afd recovered against him with the additionall Costs thereon on the tenth day of February next ensuing the date hereof taken before us two of his Lordships of the peace this 15.th day of Nov.r 1737 Ed: Rownd Ch.a Rackliffe |
