the Court here valued the things In the Indictment afd mentioned to be Stolen according to act
of assembly in Such Case provided as followeth the said gown and Shift at five Shillings Curr.t money
of Maryland   Whereupon all and Singular the premisses by the Court here seen heard and fully understood
It is Considered that the afd James Duffey pay unto the afd James Mumford the afd party
deprived four fold of the value of the goods afd stolen (and valued by the Court here as afd) amounting
to Twenty Shillings Curr.t money of Maryland   And that the Same James Duffey stand in &
upon the pillowry Imediately at deviding Creek in the County af.d the space
of a quarter of an hour and that the said Jame Duffey be whipt at the publick
whiping post with ten stripes on the bare back well Laid on untill the blood
appear and that the said James Duffey be taken &.a and thereupon as to
the Corparall punishment af.d Command is given to the sherriffe of the
County af.d that he do thereof Imediate execution according to the Judgment
af.d rendred by sitting the same James Duffey in and upon the pillowry
one quarter of an houre and by whiping him at the publick whiping
post with ten stripes on the bare back well Laid on untill the blood
appear and afterwards in the same Court Came the said sherriffe and
made return that he had done the execution of the Judgment af.d as to
the Corporall punishment af.d he was Commanded and thereupon the said
James Duffey present herein Court in his proper person is Committed
unto the Custody of the sheriffe of the County af.d thereto remain (untill
the said James Duffey be discharged from a fine of twenty pounds Currt
money of maryland (that he now stands in Custody for) and then the said
James Duffey to be returned to the County Court of Somerset in order
to be sold or to make satisfaction for the four fold af.d and the severall
officers fees due by means of the premisses af.d &.a
