of Somerset County widdow dec.d if he shall be found in his bailywick and him
should safe keep so that he might have his body before the Justices of his Lordships
County Court of Somerset to be held at dividing Creek the third tuesday of August
Anno Dom one thousand seven hundred and thirty seven to answer unto Joshua
Caldwell of a plea of trespass upon the Case &.a

    Att which day here before the Justices of his Lordships County Court of
Somerset at deviding Creek Came the af.d Joshua Caldwell by Francis Allen
his attorney and the sherriff to witt John Henry Gent at the same day here
returned that he had taken the af.d Stephen Horsey whose body hereat this day
he had ready to answer the af.d Joshua Caldwell of the af.d plea as to him it was
Commanded      And Whereupon the same Stephen Horsey puts in his place
Robert Jenckins Henry Gent attorney at Law against the af.d Joshua Caldwell
of the af.d plea  Whereupon at the request of the parties day is
given to the parties af.d here before His Lordships Justices at deviding Creek
untill the third tuesday of November then next following in the same
state as at present saving to the parties &.a  Att which day here before his
Lordships Justices at deviding Creek Came as well the af.d Joshua Caldwell
as the af.d Stephen Horsey by their attorneys af.d and hereupon the said
Joshua declared against the said Stephen Horsey in the plea af.d in form
following viz.t   Somerset County ss.t  Stephen Horsey late of Somerset
County planter Executor of the Testament & Last Will of Hannah Horsey
late of the said County widdow ^decd^ was attached to answer unto Joshua Caldwell
of a plea of trespass upon the case &.a

And Whereupon the said Joshua by Geo Douglass his
attorney complains that whereas the said Hannah in her life time to witt
the first day of december Anno Dom seventeen hundred and thirty three
at the County of Somerset af.d within the Jurisdiction of this Court was
Indebted unto the said Joshua in three thousand eight hundred and
seventy six pounds of tobacco for sundrys properly chargeable in account
