hundred and fifty pounds of good sound merchantable leafe tobacco in Cask to Contain
the same to be paid unto the af.d John Atkinson when he should be thereunto required
Yett the said John Henderson tho' often required the said one hundred seventy eight
pounds Currt money of maryland and eight hundred and fifty pounds of good sound
merchantable leafe tobacco in Cask to contain the same to the said John Atkinson
hath not rendred but the same to him hitherto to render hath denyed and
still doth deny and unjustly detain whereupon he saith he is worse and hath damage
to the value of twenty pounds Currt money of maryland and thereupon he
brings suit &.a                                                         Pledges &.a J Doe & R Roe

And the af.d John Henderson by William Beckingham his attorney Cometh
and defendeth the force and Injury when &.a and saith that he Cannot deny the
action af.d of the af.d John ^Atkinson^ nor but that the writing obligatory af.d is the deed
of the same John ^Henderson^ nor but that he oweth the same John the af.d one hundred
seventy eight pounds Currt money of maryland and eight hundred and fifty
pounds of tobacco in manner and form as the af.d John ^Atkinson^ above against him
declared
                            Therefore it is Considered that the af.d John Atkinson recover
against the af.d John Henderson his debt af.d and his damages by occasion of
the detaining the same debt to
340   pounds of tobacco to the same John ^Atkinson^ of his assent by the Court here adjudged
with stay of execution untill the twentieth day of august then next following
and the af.d John ^Henderson^ in mercy &.a

County that he should take Charles Ramsey late of Somerset
County planter al dict Charles Ramsey of the said County planter if he Shall be
found in his bailywick and him should safe keep so that he might have his body before the
Justices of his Lordships County Court of Somerset to be held at dividing Creek in the
Same County the third Tuesday of November Ann Dom One thousand seven hundred
