Thomas Bluett of the same County Gent of a plea that he render unto him twenty six
pounds Curr money of america which to him he oweth and unjustly detains &.a

And Whereupon the same Thomas by Robert Jenckins Henry his
attorney saith that whereas the af.d John the nineteenth day of July in the year of
our Lord God one thousand seven hundred thirty and six at Somerset County af.d within
the Jurisdiction of this Court by his certain writing obligatory did acknowledge himself
to be held and firmly bound unto the said Thomas in the af.d twenty six pounds
Currt money of america to be paid to the same Thomas ^whom he should^ be thereunto requested  Nevertheless
the said John altho' often thereunto requested the af.d twenty six pounds
Currt money af.d to the same Thomas he hath not as yet rendered but the same
to him hitherto to render hath denied and still doth refuse and deny wherefore he
saith that he saith is the worse and hath damage to the value of thirty pounds Curr.t
money of the province of maryland and thereof he brings suit &.a and brings here
into Court the writing af.d which the debt af.d in form af.d doth testify the date whereof
is the same day and year af.d                                          Pledges &a  J: Doe & R Roe

    A Copy of the foregoing declaration was made and sent to be served on the deft with
the writt af.d according to act of assembly in such case made and provided &.a

    Att which day here before the Justices of his Lordships County Court of Somerset
at deviding Creek Came the af.d Thomas Bluett by his attorney af.d and the sherriffe
to wit John Henry Gent at the same day here returned that he had taken the
af.d John Bozman whose body hereat this day he had ready to answer the
af.d Thomas Bluett of the af.d plea as to him it was Commanded and the same
sherriffe further returned that he had served the same John Bozman with a Copy
of the declaration af.d according to act of assembly in such case made and provided &a

             And the aforesaid John Bozman in his proper person Cometh and defendeth the
force and Injury when &.a and saith that he Cannot deny the action afd of the afd Thomas Bluett nor
but that ^the writing obligatory afd in the deed of the same John nor but^ he oweth the afd Thomas the afd twenty Six pounds Curr.t money of American in manner & form
as the afd Thomas above against him hath declared &a

Therefore it is Considered that the afd Thomas Bluett recover against the afd John Bozman
his debt afd and his damages by occasion of the detaining of the same debt
