the same attached or any part thereof the same in your Custody safe keep so that
you have the same before our Justices of our County Court of Somerset to be held
at deviding Creek the the third tuesday of November next then and there to be
condemned according to act of assembly to and for the use of a Certain John Scarbrough
unless the said John Dayle by himself or his attorney shall appear and answer unto the
said John Scarbrough unless in a plea of trespass upon the Case &.a  According to
Law and that by Good and Lawfull men of you bailywick you make known
unto the person or persons in whose hands you make the same attachment that
he she or they be and appear before our Justices of our County Court to be held
as af.d to shew cause if any he she or they have why the same Goods chattles
rights or Credits so attached in his her or their hands ought not to be Condemned and
execution thereof had and made (according to act of assembly in such case made
and provided) if to him her or them it shall seem meet and how you shall execute
this writ that you make known unto our said Justices at the day and place
af.d and have you then and there this writt  Wittness John Smith Gent one of our
Justices of our said Court the nineteenth day of August in the twenty fourth year
of our Dominion &.a  Anno Dom one thousand seven hundred and thirty seven

    Att which day here before the Justices of his Lordships County Court of Somerset at dividing
Creek Came the afd John Scarbrough by George Douglas his attorney and the Sheriff to witt
John Henry Gent at the same day here made return of the foregoing writt thereof Endorsed

    I do hereby Humbly Certifie to the Justices within Written that by Vertue of the within
Writt to me directed On the fifteenth day of October One thousand seven hundred and
thirty Seven at all hollows parish within my Bailywick I attached the within mentioned
Sum of fourteen pounds and ten pence Curr.t money of the province of Maryland  And
One thousand pounds of tobacco of the goods and Chattells of the within named John Dayly
in the hands of the within Named Mentioned John Scarbrough to be Condemned for the Use
of the said John Scarbrough and I do further Certifie that by Robert King Jun.r and
Ephraim Waggaman good and Lawfull men of my Bailywick I made known to the
