October ye 10.th: 1737  Came before me the Subscriber
one of his Lordships Justices of the peace for
the County of Somerset Cap.t John Scarbrough
and made oath on the holy evangelists of
almighty ^God^ that the above account against
John Dayle is Just and true as it stands
stated and that he hath not received any
part or parcell satisfaction or security for
the said debt more then credit is given for in
the said account        sworn before me
                                           Jam.s Martin
                                                                For as much as it hath been made appear to
me the subscriber by Cap.t John Scarbrough that a certain John Daley is run
away and about to remove his effects out of this province in order to defraud his
creditors and that he is indebted unto the said Scarbrough fourteen pounds and ten
pence Curr.t money of this province as will appear by the account sent herewith
duely proved these are therefore to Impower you to Issue Attachement against
the goods and Chattles of the said Dayle in favour of the said Scarbrough for the said
sum of fourteen pounds and ten pence Curr.t money as af.d and for your so doing this
shall be your sufficient Warrant Given under my hand and seal this 10.th day of
october 1737                                                                  Jam.s Martin

                         Pursuant to an act of assembly of this province now in force and by virtue
of the abovesaid Warrant was Issued the following attachment against the goods Chattells Rights or
Creditts of the afd John Dayley &a
                                                          Somerset ss.t
                                                                                     Charles absolute Lord and proprietary
of the provinces of maryland and avalon Lord Baron of Baltemore &.a  To the sherriff
of Somerset of Somerset County Greeting we Command you that you attach any the
Goods chattles Rights or Creditts of John Dayle late of Somerset County Labourer if they
shall be found in your bailywick to the value of fourteen pounds and ten pence Currt
money of the province of maryland and one thousand pounds of tobacco and when you have
