his heirs and successors to be made and Levied  If it happen that ^she^ the said Margaret Peal
do not make her personall appearance before the Justices of his Lordships County Court
of Somerset to be held at deviding Creek in the same County the third tuesday of
November then next following an do not then and there give such evidence all she doth
Know on behalfe of his said Lordship against John Woolford in relation to his Committing of
adultery and begetting of a bastard Child on the body of her the said Margaret Peal and do depart
the Same Court without Leave &a


Cornelius Dickerson appears according to his recognizance for appearance and good behaviour
at this Court and is discharged he and his Securitys therefrom &a

Somerset ss.t  Memorandum that at a Session of the peace of his Lordship
the right honourable the Lord proprietary of the province of
maryland held at deviding Creek in Somerset County the third
tuesday of November to witt the fifteenth day of the same month Anno Dom one
thousand seven hundred and thirty seven before Robert King Gen.t and others his associates
Justices of his the said Lord proprietary the peace in the County af.d to Conserve
and also divers felonys trespasses and other Malefeasances in the same County Committed
to hear and determine assigned by the oath of John Waters and twelve others being presented
that William Conner late of Coventry parish in the County af.d planter the first day
of November Anno Dom seventeen hundred thirty and seven at the parish af.d in the
County af.d within the Jurisdiction of this Court in and upon a Certain Mary Jones
of the same County in the peace of God and of the said Lord proprietary then and
there being with force and arms an assault did make and the same Mary then and
there did beat wound and evilly treat so that of her life it was much despaired and
other harms to her then and there did to the great damage of the same Mary and against
the peace of the said Lord proprietary that now is his good rule and Goverment &a

          Thereupon Command was given to the sheriffe of Somerset County that he
should take the said William Conner if &.a to answer &.a and now to witt at this
same term held for Somerset County at deviding Creek the third tuesday of November
