aforesaid planter the Sixteenth day of July in the Year of our Lord God Seventeen hundred and thirty
Seven with force and armes at the parish afd in the County afd within the Jurisdiction of this Court
One Hogg of the price of five Shillings Curr.t money of Maryland of the goods and Chattells of Maryland
Benston then and there being found then and there feloniously did steal take and Bear away Contrary
to the peace of the said Lord Proprietary that now is his good rule and Government and against
the form of the act of assembly in such Case Lately made and provided &a
Test   Mary Benston, Doubty Collier, George Paul Sarah Taylor

    On the foregoing Bill of Indictment it was Endorsed as followeth vizt Ignoramus John
Waters foreman         And now to witt this fifteenth day of November ann Dom one thousand
Seven hundred and thirty Seven that same Term before his Lordships Justices at dividing Creek
in the Same County Came the afd John Edwards in his proper person according to a Certain Recognizance
by him and his Security before acknowledged &.a and thereupon the said John Edwards and his
Security is accordingly discharged from the Recognizance afd &a

Whereupon the said John Edwards is ordered to give Security for the payment of the Severall officers
fees due by means of the premisses afd   Thereupon a Certain Mathias Gale of Somerset County Gent
present herein Court in his properson undertakes for the said John Edwards for the payment of the
severall officers their fees ^due^ on the premisses afd in Case the said John Edwards do not pay the same &a


Mary Benston Doubty Collier George Paul and Sarah Taylor all Severally appear here
in Court to their Recognizance to give Evidence on behalfe of his Lordship against John Edwards
and are accordingly discharged therefrom &a

held at dividing Creek in somerset County the third Tuesday of Novem to witt
the fifteenth day of the Same month ann Dom One thousand Seven hundred and thirty
Seven before Robert King Gent and others his associates Justices of his the said Lord propry
the peace in the County afd to Conserve and also divers felonys trespasses and other Malefeasances
in the Same County Committed to hear and determine assigned by the oath of John
Waters and twelve others being presented that Joan Collings late of Stepney parish in the
County af.d Spinster the tenth day of august Anno Dom seventeen hundred thirty and seven
at the parish af.d in the County af.d within the Jurisdiction of this Court in and upon
