133 that had a right to the said Estate &a thereupon the said Whittington King is discharged from giving any Security for the Same &a Joshua Atkinson of Somerset County planter being present herein Court in his proper person the Same Court then and there agreed with the Same Joshua Atkinson for the building and Compleating a good Sufficient and Substantiall new bridge over nansepmgp Creek in the Same place where the bridge now is and that the said Bridge be built and finished in every part by the said Joshua Atkinson according to the direction of Cap.t John Smith and Capt James Martin and in consideration of the said Joshua Atkinsons building and erecting of the bridge afd and making and Compleating of the bridge afd According to the direction of Capt John Smith and Capt James Martin afd he the said Joshua is to ^be^ allowed and paid the Sum of thirty pounds Curr.t money of Maryland &a Ordered that William Polson overseer of the road Clear further than his Usuall Limitts from Bacon Creek Mill into the Main road that Leads to Vienna Ferry according to the direction of M.r Mitchell Dashiell & said Polson the said Road to be Cleared to the Least prejudice of any person or persons whatsoever &a Ordered that John Messick be Overseer and Clear a road from out of the main Road between Little Creek and broad Creek over broad Creek wading place through the Indian old feild to Cannons Ferry and that Will.m Baker Peter Sirman Daniel Skilley and all other taxables that Lives down broad Creek be under the said Over seer in Clearing of the said road &a Ordered that Parker Selby be Overseer and Clear a road from Robert Watson through M.r William Lanes neck of Land into the main road (by Littletons bridge) that Leads down pocomoke to the ferry the said road to be Cleared according to the direction of Capt Willm Lane and Robert Watson &a Joshua Merrill Constable of Pocomoke hundred is appointed by the Court here for the Suppression of the Tummultious meetings of negroes (in the said hundred) according to act of assembly in such Case made and provided &a
