You Joseph M.ccClester Francis Porter and Littleton Townsend do Confess
Judgm.t to Richard Gildart Esq.r for the sum of seven thousand four hundred and
eleven pounds of tobacco which sum was recovered by the said Richard Gildart Esq.r
against the said Joseph M.ccClester in Somerset County Court before the Justices of
the said Court on the 15.th day of march 1736 the said seven thousand four
hundred and eleven pounds of tobacco to be levied of you bodys goods and Chattles
Lands or tennements for the use of the said Richard Gildart in case the said Joseph
M.ccClester shall not pay and satisfy to the said Richard Gildart the said seven thousand
four hundred and eleven pounds of tobacco so as af.d recovered against him with the
additionall costs thereon on the tenth day of February Next   Acknowledged before us
    July ye 29.th 1737

      The Same

    Command was given to the Coroners of Somerset County that they
should take Joseph M.ccClester late of Somerset County Gen.t if he
should be found in their bailywick and him should safe keep so that they might
have his body before the Justices of his Lordships County Court of Somerset to be held
at dividing Creek the third tuesday of August Anno Dom one thousand seven hundred
and thirty seven to satisfie Richard Davies of Eighteen Shillings Currant Money of Maryland
and Nineteen hundred & thirty six pounds of tobacco which to the Same Richard in the same Court
before his Lordships Justices at Dividing Creek afd were adjudged for his damages which he had
by occasion of a Certain promise and assumption to the same Richard by the afd Joseph made &
not performed whereof he is Convict &.c  Att which day here before the Justices of his
Lordships County Court of Somerset at dividing Creek Came the said Richard Davies
by William Goldsborough his attorney and the Coroners of Somerset County af.d to wit
Henry Ballard and William Lane Gen.t at the same day here returned that
they had taken the af.d Joseph M.ccClester whose body hereat this day they had read
to satisfie &c as af.d they were Commanded &c
