    Command was given to the Sheriff of Somerset County that he should
take William Bowen Late of Somerset County planter otherwise Called W.m
Bowen of this County afd and province afd planter if he Should be found in his Bailywick &
him should safe keep so that he might have his body before the Justices of his Lordships County
Court of Somerset to be held at dividing Creek in the Same County the third Tuesday of august ann Dom
One thousand seven hundred and thirty seven to satisfie John Dennis Jun.r as well a Certain debt
of fifty five pounds Curr.t money of Maryland and five thousand pounds of tobacco which the same
John in his Lordships County Court of Somerset at dividing Creek afd recovered against ^him^ as of three
hundred and one pounds of tobacco which to the same John in the same Court were adjudged for
his damages which he had by occasion of the detention of the Same debt whereof he is Convict &c

       Att which day before the Justices of his Lordships County Court of Somerset at dividing
Creek afd Came the afd John Dennis in his proper person and the Sheriffe of the County afd to witt
Joseph McClester Gent at the same day returned that he had taken the afd William Bowen whose
body here at this day he had ready to satisfie &.c as afd he was Commanded &c

take Joseph Macclester Late of Somerset County Gent if he Should
be found in their bailywick and them should safe keep so that they might have his body
before the Justices of his Lordships County Court of Somerset to be held at dividing Creek
the third Tuesday of August ann Dom One thousand Seven hundred and thirty Seven
to Satisfie Richard Gildart Esq.r of Seven Thousand four hundred and Eleven pounds of
tobacco which to the Same Richard in the Same Court before the Justices of his Lordships Justices
at dividing Creek afd were adjudged for his damages which he had by occasion of a Certain promise
and assumption to the Same Richard by the afd Joseph made and not performed whereof he is
Convict &.c    Att which day here before the Justices of his Lordships County Court of Somerset at
dividing Creek Came the said Richard Gildart Esqr by William Goldsborough his attorney and the
Coroners or Somerset County afd to witt Henry Ballard and W.m Lane Gent the same day here
returned that they had taken the afd Joseph MccClester whose Body here at this day they had ready to
satisfie &.c as afd they were Commanded &c                                                                            You
