promise and assumption afd as for their Costs and Charges by them about their Suit in
that part apposed and the Inquisition which thereupon he Should take he make appear
to the Justices of his Lordships County Court of Somerset to be held at dividing Creek
the third Tuesday of November then next following und^er^ his Seal and the Seales of
them by whose oath he takes that Same Inquisition &c

     Command was Given to the Sheriffe of Somerset County that
he Should take John Evans Garnishee of Thomas Gray of Somerset
County Mariner if he Should be found in his bailywick and him should
safe keep so that he might have his body before the Justices of his Lordships County
Court of Somerset to be held at dividing Creek in the same County the third Tuesday
of August anno Dom One thousand Seven hundred and thirty seven to Satisfie W.m
Macclemmey of four pounds ten shillings Curr.t money of Maryland there being so
much Condemned in his hands of the rights and Creditts of the said Thomas Gray as also
Two hundred and Eighteen pounds of tobacco which to the Same William in his said
Lordships County Court of Somerset at dividing Creek afd were adjudged for his Costs
and Charges by him about his suit in that part apposed whereof the Same John Evans
is Convicted &c      Att which day here Came the said William MccClemmey by Geo:
Douglas his attorney and the Sheriffe of Somerset County to witt John Henry Gentleman at
the Same Day here returned that he had taken the afd John Evans whose body here at
this day he had here ready to satisfie &c as afd he was Commanded &c

You John Evans Henry Dashiell and Thomas Shilles do Confess Judgement
to William M.ccClemmey for the sum of four pounds tenn shillings Curr.t money of
two hundred and eighteen pounds of tobacco which sums was recovered by the
said W.m M.ccClemmey against John Evans on the fifteenth day of March last in
Somerset County Court the said four pounds ten shillings and two hundred and
eighteen pounds of tobacco to be levied of your bodys goods or Chattles Lands or
tennements for the use of the said William M.ccClemmey in Case the said John Evans
shall not pay and satisfie unto the said William M.ccClemmey the said four pounds
ten shillings Curr.t money and two hundred and eighteen pounds of tobacco so as af.d
Recovered against him with the additional Cost thereon ^on^ the tenth day of Febry next taken this eight day of
