104 Taylor and Gilbert Taylor in the full and Just Sum of One hundred and Twenty seven pounds six shillings and four pence Currant Money to be paid unto the said William Taylor James Taylor Mathias Taylor and Gilber Taylor their heirs Ex.rs Adm.rs or assignes to the which payment well and truly to be made and done we bind ourselves our and either of our heirs Ex.rs and adm.rs for the whole and in the whole jointly and severally firmly by these presents sealed with our seals and dated this 17 Day of August Ann Dom 1737 The Condition of the above obligation is such that whereas the Commissary Genll hath transmitted unto this Court the Account ^of the Estate of^ James Taylor dec.d where in it is found that there is ba.ll due to the abovesaid ^orphans^ the sum of sixty three pounds thirteen shillings and two pence Curr.t money of Maryland if therefore the above said John Beavins his heirs Ex.rs and Adm.rs or either of them do and shall well and truly pay or Cause to be paid unto ^ye^ af.d orphans the ^afd^ sum of sixty three pounds thirteen shillings and Two pence Curr.t money of Maryland to be paid them According to act of assembly and dec.d will when they shall arrive at full age to receive the same &c Then the above obligation to be void and of none effect otherwise to remaine in full force and vertue &c John Beavins (Seal) Signed Sealed and delivered his in presents of Thomas Beavins 'T' (seal) John Handy mark Tho.s Williams Jonathan Sturges (seal)
Recognizances for their appearance and Each of their appearances before the Justices of his Lordships County Court of Somerset to be held at dividing Creek the third Tuesday of November then next to to give Evidence for his Lordship against the said John Edwards on Suspicion of Felony &c Whereupon the said Mary Benston Doubty Collier and Geo Paul acknowledged themselves Severally Indebted unto his Lordship the Lord Proprietary in the Sum of five pounds Sterling Each of their goods and Chattells Lands and tenements Severally to be made and Levied to the Use of his said Lordship his heirs and Successors If it happen that they the said Mary Benston Doubty ^Collier^ and George Paul do not make their personal appearance before the Justices of his Lordships County Court of Somerset to be held at dividing Creek the third Tuesday of November then next and do not then and there give Such Evidence as they shall know on behalfe of his said |
