Talbot County to wit
 I hereby certify all persons whom
it doth or may concern that Dan.l
Martin of the State and county afs.d came and proved
to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof   Nathan a light
black coloured negro man about twenty five years of
age five feet four Inches and three quarters of an inch
high was manumated by John Trippe of the county
afs.d in the year seventeen hundred and ninety five
there are no scars on said negro
(Seal)   In Testimony whereof I have hereunto
             set my hand and affix the seal of my office
this 19.th day of october 1813

it doth or may Concern that William B Smith
of Talbot County and proved to my satisfaction that
the bearer hereof a negro woman named nancy about
five feet two Inches high was born in this County
about twenty six years of age with mark of
a burn below her elbow was manimated
by William Hindman of this County      O
                   In witness whereof &

may Concern that Wm Hindman Esqr came and proved to my satisfaction
that the bearer hereof Esq.r Pentons a very bright light molatto Girl about
fourteen years of age four feet 1½ inches high with a small ^black^ mole
nearly between the right side of her under lip & To wit was raised
in the County [illegible]
