Talbot County to wit
 I hereby Certify that the bearer hereof
negro Jack John alias John Greene
was manumitted and set free by myself
on the 22.d day of December 1809 the said John alias
John Greene is now about 30 y.rs of age ^of a Dark Complection^ 6 feet high has
one Large Scar partly on the ball on his right thumb and partly
has one other ^small^ Scar in his fore hand & fourthly ^directly^ between his eye brow
and one other scar on the his left arm below the elbow

hereby negro Peter alias Peter Johnson
was manumitted and set free by D.r
Ennalls Martin of the County afd and State afs.d on the 27.th
day of September 1809 ^to be free when he should arrive to the age of 21 years^ the said Peter alias Peter Johnson
is of a mullato Complexion thirty Eight years of age
on the 22.d of April last Five feet 11 inches high has only
one Small Scar partly in the Off Corner of his right
eye brow no other Visable marks

Needles of the County afs.d
came & proved to my satisfaction
that the bearer hereof Francis Hawkins a black
man about 21 y.rs old a scar in the under part
of his wrist 5 feet 3 Inches high was born free
and raised in the County afs.d
                      In Testimony &c this 21st day of
