The state of Maryland  Talbot County to wit
I do hereby certify to all persons whom it doth or may
that Isaac Atkinson of Talbot County and state afsd
came and proved to my Satisfaction that Louisa a
Mulatto woman about 27 years old five feet five Inches
high two and three Quarter Inches High with a few
reckels in the face was born free in the County afsd
In Testimony whereof I have hereunto sett
my hand and affixed the puplic Seal of my office
this 1st day of October 1808                        L

certify that Colo Obadia Garey of the County & state
aforesaid came and proved to my satisfaction
that the bearer hereof a black man who calls
himself Lloyd Stewart (and who is now about nineteen
years of age  five feet two inches and three quarters
of an inch high   one scar near his right elbow
on the upper part of his arm  dark Complexion
was born free  and likewise that the said Lloyd Stewart
was raised in the County & state afd   In Testimony
&.c  this 28.th of Aug 1810   JLoockerman Cl
