Maryland Talbot County To wit:  I hereby certify that M.r
Richard Harwood of the County and State aforesaid came
and proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a
Dark mulatto Man who calls himself Levin and who
is now about Twenty nine years of age   five feet two inches
and an half high and without any remarkable scars is
the identical person named in a Manumission made by
Thomas Morgan of the County and State aforesaid to be free
on the first day of January eighteen Hundred and eight
which said Manumission was duly executed and
recorded among the Land Record Books of the County &
state aforesaid where the said Levin was raised
             In Testimony whereof &.c   this 29.th day of
July 1811                                             JLoockerman Cl


             State of Maryland Talbot County to wit:
                          I hereby certify that M.r Nicholas Watts
             of the county and State aforesaid came and
             proved to my satisfaction that the bearer
             hereof ^a^ coloured man who calls himself James
             Steel and who is now about thirty nine years of
             age five feet five inches and an half high pock
             broken and rather of a bright complexion is
             the identicle person named in a manumission
             made by the said Nicholas Watts to the said
             James Steel on the thirtieth day of may in
             the year eighteen hundred and seven to be free from the
             date hereof   which Said manumission was duly
             executed and Recorded among the land Records
             of Talbot County aforesaid where the said James
             Steel was raised
                                            In Testimony &.c this 11.th
             day of december 1811
