52 State of maryland Talbot County to wit I hereby Certify that Samuel Troth of the County and State aforesaid Came and proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a black man who Calls himself Jacob and who is now about forty Eight years of age five feet Six inches and an half high has one scar over his right eye brow and Dark complexion is the identicle person named in a manumission made by a certain William W Kellum of the County afs.d on the twelfth day of august anno Domini seventeen hundred and Eighty Eight to be free from the date thereof which said manumission is executed and recorded among the Land records of Talbot County and state afs.d where the said Jacob was raised In Testimony &.c this 11.th Sept.r 1811 JLoockerman Cl
of Talbot County Came and proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof Edward Willson a Black man five feet nine Inches and one half an Inch high about twenty two years of age with no Visible Scars or marks is free born and was raised in the County afs.d In Testimony whereof I hereto set my hand and affix the public seal (S T) of my office this 13.th day of December 1814 JLoockerman Clk |
