51 State of maryland Talbot County to wit I hereby certify that M.r Anthony Banning of the county and state aforesaid came and proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a mulatto man named "Perry Hynson" who is now about thirty two years of age five feet Six Inches and an half Inch high Has the first Joint of the little finger of the his right hand off the nail of the third finger of the SAme hand also off a large scar on the middle finger and back of the same hand all occasioned by a Burn is the Identicle person manumitted and set free by him the said Henry Banning on the 18th day of July 1815 In Testimony &.c this 25th (Seal) of July 1815 JLoockerman Clerk of Talbot County State of Maryland Talbot County to wit: I hereby Certify that Mr W.m Biles of the County and State afs.d came & proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a Black man who calls himself John Freeman [illegible] is now about 23 years of age 5 feet 10 in high has a scar between the 1.st & 2.d Joints of the little finger of his left hand and on other (Small) Scar between the first & 2.d Joints of the third finger of the same hand was born free & raised in the County afs.d In Testimony &.c this 12 Aug.t 1815 JLoockerman Clk |
