Talbot County to wit
 I hereby Certify all persons
whome doth or may Concern
that the bear hereof a Black Man by the Name of Dick
five feet six Inches high with a [illegible] on the left hand
before the thum about fifty one years of age was record
in the County aforesaid and maintained by Thomas
Chamberlain Deceasd in the year seventeen
hundred eight as satisfactory proved to me
by Doctor Eunalls Martin of the County af.d
I Witness whereof I hereto set my office this 1 day
Ag.st 1808

 I hereby Certify that M.r
James Mackey of the County &
State afs.d came & proved to my
satisfaction that the bearer hereof to wit (Negro
Adam alias Adam mullikin a black man
about 24 years of age 5.7¾ in high has only one
small scar on the right side of his face near his nose
and about one inch and a half below his eye  has
no other notable mark) was born free & raised in
the County & State afs.d
                                  In Testimony &.c this 11.th
                                  of Oct 1813

I hereby certify all persons whome
it doth or may Concern that John B Singleton of Talbot County
Came and proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof
a black woman by the name of memory five feet 4¼ of an
Inch high has lost the nail of her left hand little finger
about twenty two years of age was born and raised in the
County aforesaid and set free by Rachel Thomas John Light
& others
                               In Testimony &c this 1st day of
                               august
