Talbot County to wit
 I hereby Certify that Mrs Staney Sharply
of the County and State afs.d came &
proved to my satisfaction that the Bearer hereof (a Black
Woman who calls herself Daphney Tinder who is now
about 13 y.rs of age 5 feet 2 inches high has one small scar
on the top of her left arm one other scar on her left arm
occasioned by innoculation for the kine pox) was born
free & raised in the County afs.d
                         In Testimony &.c this 22.d of
                         Sept 1812

Talbot County to wit
 I hereby Certify all
persons whom it
doth or may Concern that M.r Ignatius
Rhodes of the County and State afs.d Came
and proved to my satisfaction that the
bearer hereof to wit Aaron Sewell was born
free being the son of a negro woman named
Priss who was manumitted & set free by John
Register of the County afs.d some years before
the said Aaron was born  The said Aaron
is of a mulatto Colour 5 feet 6 inches & ¾ of an
inch high has one large scar on his forehead
one end of which is partly in the Corner or end
of his left eye brow  has one small scar on the
Back and near the third Joint of the fore finger
of his left hand one other small scar on
his middle finger and near the third Joint
of said finger on his left hand  The said
Aaron is now about 22 y.rs of age & was raised
in the County afs.d
                      In Testimony &.c this 5 Jany 1813
