State of Maryland
Talbot County to wit
 I hereby certify all whom it
doth or may concern that
Samuel Clayton came and proved to my satisfaction
that the bearer hereof a bright mulatto negro woman
named Nancy Walker alias Nancy Weaver about
thirty two years of age slightly pock broken in the
face with a small mole on the right side of her
face on the upper lip near the corner of her nose
and four feet ten inches and one quarter of an inch
high is the identical person person manumitted by
Grace Brooks in the year Anno Domini seventeen
hundred and ninety seven and was raised in the
County aforesaid      I Testimony &C


State of Maryland
Talbot County to wit
 I hereby Certify all persons whom
it doth or may Concern that
William Mackey of the County afs.d came and proved to
my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a Dark brown
negro woman named Hannah aged thirty three years
five feet seven inches and one quarter of an inch high
defected in her right hand is the Identical negro
Woman he manumitted on the twentieth day of January
seventeen hundred and ninety eight and was raised
in the afs.d County of Talbot
