State of Maryland
Talbot County to wit
 I hereby Certify all persons whom it
doth or may concern that Richard
Earle came and proved to my satisfaction that the bearer
hereof a Bright mulatto negro woman named Margarete
(alias) Margarete Matthews aged forty three years
five feet three and one fourth inches high is the identical
negro woman set free by M.rs Anna M Tilghman
the twenty second day of may Eighteen hundred and seven
and that the said negro was raised in the County afsd
dated 1807                  In Testimony &C


State of Maryland
Talbot County to wit
 I hereby Certify all persons whom
it doth or may concern that William
Needles came and proved to my satisfaction that the bearer
hereof a dark Mulatto negro man named David aged
fifty years or thereabouts five feet five and an half
inches high with a scar on his left Eye lid is the identical
negro manumitted by Howell Powell Junr the nineteenth
day of October Anno Domini seventeen hundred and ninety
and was raised in the County of Talbot afs.d
       dated 1807
                                                 In Testimony &C


State of Maryland Talbot County to wit
             I hereby Certify that M.r Edw.d Weyman
of the County and state afs.d came & proved & my
satisfaction that the bearer hereof a mulatto woman named
Henny Rideout who is now about 40 y.rs of age 5 feet 0¾
in high has no notable marks or scars is the identical
negro woman man.d & set free by him the said Weyman
on the 6.th day of Aug.t 1814  In Testimony &.c
