came and proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a Black negro man named Thomas Franks aged Twenty four years of thereabouts five feet five inches high with a scar on the left fore head and also one on the right corner of his mouth is the identical negro man manumitted by the afsd Joseph Tilford on the 25th day of October eighteen hundred and two and duly inrolled on the Records of the County afsd And the said negro man was born in the Island of Saint Kitts (alias) S.t Christophers in the west Indias dated 22.nd Decemr In Testimony &C 1807
satisfaction that bearer hereof a Dark Brown negro woman named Rachel aged thirty five or thereabouts five feet three inches and three quarters of an inch high is the identical negro woman manumitted by Hugh Rene of the said County on the eighth day of December eighteen hundred and seven and was raised in the County aforesaid dated 4.th Jany In Testimony &c 1808 |
