proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a mulatto negro man named James Proctor aged thirty five years or thereabouts five feet nine inches and one quarter of an inch high with a small scar of over his left Eye is the identical son of a negro woman named Murria which said negro woman named Murria was ma duly manumitted and enrolled in the records of Talbot County aforesaid previous to the birth of the said negro man named James Proctor as afsd and that he the said James Proctor was born ^free^ and raised in the County of Talbot aforesaid In Testimony & dated 9th January 1808
Bolyn five feet eight inches high of a very light brown complexion about thirty four years of age lost two of his foreteeth apposite each other has a scar on his chin and one on the right corner of his right Eye has several notable marks on his right hand and also the Letters P F stampd on his right arm is the identical person manumitted by William Hindman in the year 1807 dated 26th Jany 1808 In Testimony &c |
