State of Maryland
Talbot County to wit
 I hereby Certify to all persons whom it doth
or may concern that ^William Wilson of the County afs.d came & proved to^ the bearer hereof a
black negro man named Perry alias Perry Byas aged out about
twenty three years five feet five inches and three quarters of an inch
high has some small scars on his forehead also one on the left
corner of his left eye is the identical negro manumitted by
Samuel Register of the said County in the year seventeen
hundred and ninety one and was also born and raised
in the said County
                                  In Testimony &C
dated the 9 February 1808


State of Maryland
Talbot County to wit
 I hereby Certify all persons whom it doth or
may concern that to my certain knowledge
the bearer hereof a Mulatto negro woman named Lettice aged about
forty years of age feet feet three inches and one quarter of an inch
high with a tolerable space between her fore uper teeth is the identical
negro woman set free by Perry Parrott of the ^sd^ County in the year
seventeen hundred and ninety two January the ninth and the said
above described negro was born and raised in the County afsd
dated 24th February 1808
                                                       In Testimony &C


State of Maryland

 I hereby Certify all persons whom it doth or may
concern that James Cockayne of the County & State af.d
came & proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof Negro [illegible]
of a dark brown Complexion about 24 years of age 5 3 high
has a small scar on her right wrist & a small mark on her nose
between her lips was born free  In Testimony &
                                  April 2 1808
