State of Maryland
Talbot County to wit
I hereby certify all persons whom
it doth or may concern that M.rs Nancy Troth
of the County and State aforesaid came and
proved to my satisfaction that the bearer
hereof a bright mulatto man who calls
himself levin Gannon and who is now
about 25 years of age 5 feet 8½ Inches
high tollerable well made has no notable
marks or scars was born free and raised
in the County and State aforesaid
    (Seal)         In Testimony &c this
                      19th day of august 1815

I hereby Certify that M.r Andrew
Skinner of the County and state aforesaid came
and proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof
a black woman who calls herself Dapheny and
who is now about 22 years of age 5 feet 7 Inches
high has no notable marks or scars was born
free and raised in the County and State aforesaid
                   In Testimony whereof &c
    (Seal)      this 22.nd day of Aug.t 1815
