Speddin of the County and State afs.d came and proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a black woman who calls herself Daph and who is now about 22 years of age 5 feet 1 inch & a quarter high has no remarkable scars is the identical person named in a manumission from John Kersey late of the County afs.d (decd) to sundry negroes which said manumission was duly acknowledged & enrolled among the Land records of the County afs.d where the said negro Daph was raised (Seal) In Testimony &.c this 9 Nov 1811 JLoockerman Cl |
