Talbot County to wit
 I hereby Certify that Jacob Margaret Hooper
of the County & State afs.d Came & proved to my
satisfaction that the Bearer hereof a Black man named Jeremiah
who otherwise called Jerry Banning and who is now about      years
of age 5 feet 5¾ in high has a large scar on the inside of his
left ha little finger is the identical negro man mentioned in a
man for Jos Telford late of the County afs.d to sundry negroes
bearing date on the 25th day of October 1811 which said
manumission was duly acknowledged and enrolled among
the Land records of the County afs.d where the said negro
Jeremiah was raised      In Testimony &c this 24th day

 I hereby Certify that Isaac
Atkinson of the County and state
afs.d came and proved to my satisfaction that the
bearer hereof a black man who calls himself Isaac
Williams who is now about 35 years of age 5 feet 9¾
inches high has no noteable scars is the identical
person manumitted by W.m W. Haddaway on the 7 of
September 1807 and duly attested acknowledged and
enrolled among the land records of the county afs.d
where the said Isaac Williams was raised

James C. Mullikin of the
          County & State afs.d came & proved to my satisfaction
          that the bearer hereof negro a Black man named
          James otherwise called James Rhodens who is now
          about 22 years of age 5.5½ in high has no
          notable markes or scars except two small scars
          on the left side of his neck) was born free & raised
          in the Coty afs.d
