The State of maryland
Talbot County to wit
 I hereby Certify all persons whom it doth
or may or doth concern that Doct.r [illegible]
Moore of the County and State afsd  Came and proved to my
Satisfaction that the bearer hereof Thomas Miller a dark
Mulatto about five feet five Inches and one quarter of an Inch high
was born and Raised in the County aforesaid is about twenty
two years of age   without any visible scars or marks was
       free born
                                     In witness whereof &c
          (Seal)                     This 15.th day of nov.r 1813

State of maryland
Talbot County to wit
 I hereby certify that M.r Will.m Hindman
of the county and State aforesaid that
the bearer hereof a bright molatto woman who calls herself
Caroline Haskins and who is now about 46 years of age
five feet five Inches high without any notable scars
is the Identicle person named Caroline Haskins in a
manumission made by Wm Hindman of the County
and State aforesaid on the tenth day of Septr 1805
to be free from the date thereof which said manumission
was duly Executed and Enrolled among the land records of
Talbot County where the said Caroline was raised
                            In Testimony &.c this 24th may
