Talbot County to wit
I hereby certify all persons whom
it doth or may concern that William Benny of Talbot
County came & proved to my satisfaction that
the bearer hereof a bright Mulatto Man named Ja.s
Harwood about thirty six years of age five feet nine
inches high with black hair with a scar on the
right forehead under the hair is the identical person
that was manumitted by Thomas Cooper  In
Witness whereof &.a  this 6 day of Nov.r 1809

Talbot County to wit
 I hereby Certify that M.r John Hall
of the county & state afsd came and
made oath on the Holy Evangels of Almighty God that
the Bearer hereof a black woman named Hannah
who calls herself Hannah Dolphin who is now about
31 yrs of age 5 ft 1½ in high has lost four teeth out of
her upper jaw no other oth particular marks is the
Identical person set free by Woolman Gibson J.r
on the 18.th day of april 1804 which was duly signed
acknowledged & enrolled among the land records of
the County afsd
                               In Testimony & this 14 of August

       Edmondson of the County & State afsd came
       & proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof
       a molatto woman who calls herself Bestey
       Cooper & who is now about 38 y.rs of age 5.5½ inches
       high has a small scar between the elbow & wrist of her
       right arm occasioned by a bite was born free
       & raised in the County & State afsd
                            In Testimony &.c this 2.d Aug.t 1815
