107 State of Maryland Talbot County Sct I hereby Certify that M.r Thomas Hambleton of the County and State afs.d came and proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof to wit Negro Philemon Bracco a Dark mullatto man was set free by mary Harrison on the 29.th day of August 1812 the said Philemon is now about 27 Years of age 5 feet 9 inches high has one scar partly inside his left hand has & one small ^scar^ on his left cheek occasioned by a Burn was raised in the the County & State afs.d In Testimony &.c this 25.th day of Feby 1813 JL Clk
State afs.d came & proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof (negro Harry otherwise called Harry Harris who is now about 22 y.rs of age 5 feet 6¼ inches high of a yellow complexion has no notable marks or scars except two small scars directly in his right eye brow) was born free & raised in the County afs.d (seal) In Testimony &.c this 14.th day of March JLoockerman Cl Maryland Talbot County to wit: I hereby certify that Cap.t Rob.t Spedden of the county & state afs.d came & proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a dark mulatto man who calls himself James Spedden & who is now about 30 years of age 5 feet 3½ inches high has a scar on his right cheek near his nose & a scar on his right arm near the wrist was born free & raised in the County & state afs.d In Testimony &.c (Seal) this 9 Sep 1815 JLoockerman Clk |
